關於國際金旅獎 Golden Travel Award
中華民國旅行業品質保障協會(以下稱:品保協會)為達到產業提升使命,積極推廣優質旅遊行程,自2012年起,每年舉辦媲美「旅遊業奧斯卡獎」之稱的「金質旅遊行程」選拔活動,今年升格打造為「第11屆國際金旅獎」。

品保協會透過全新的評選方式,承傳優良傳統,並勇於創新改變,擴大市場規模格局,將獲獎行程專業分組升級,希望藉由國際金旅獎的認證肯定,協助消費者能獲得優質旅遊資訊,重視價值取代價格導向,也輔導業者以創新、專業、差異化組裝旅遊產品,提振市場,達到消費者與旅遊業者的互信多贏。

今年跳脫過往偏重於出境市場的局勢,將入境旅遊類由原本6組增加至14組,再加上國旅的8組行程,為歷年首次超越出境旅遊類,以閃耀台灣;連結世界為主體,展現對台灣觀光旅遊的重視,引領業者走向國際化。

近年來,協會不僅舉辦選拔活動,更徹底落實維護國際金旅獎行程之旅遊品質,要求旅行業者須依契約內容履行金質旅遊行程內容,明文規定,非有不得已事由,不得任意變更契約內容,如有違約變更行程內容之情形,消費者得於國際金旅獎行程一年保障期限內,提出申訴,協會將負責調處並責求旅行社負賠償,以有效為消費者把關,保障消費者權益。

降低旅遊糾紛除了導正消費認知,更需要業者共同提升產品質量,國際金旅獎扮演重要的推手,為日新月異的市場注入正能量,建立標竿,並以品牌信譽取得消費者認同,一同振興觀光產業。
In order to enhance and promote the tourism industry, the Taiwan R.O.C. Travel Quality Assurance Association (hereinafter referred to as T.Q.) has been organizing the "T.Q. Golden Award" since 2012—an event that could be regarded as the Oscars of the tourism industry. It has been upgraded to the "11th Golden Travel Award" in the year 2023.

With inherent traditions and the spirit of innovation, T.Q. upgraded the itinerary selection system and expanded the award categories. On one hand, T.Q. showcases quality travels, thus assisting consumers in emphasizing value instead of price. On the other hand, the awards encourage travel agencies to increase professional service and differentiation of travel products. The goal is to boost the market and achieve mutual trust, building a win-win industry for both consumers and the tourism industry.

To connect Taiwan with the world, instead of focusing on outbound travel like in past years, in 2023 T.Q. has increased the category of inbound travel from 6 to 14, along with a total of 8 categories in domestic travel. This showcases Taiwan's emphasis on the tourism industry, and leads the industry towards internationalization.

In recent years, T.Q. has not only organized events for the Golden Awards, but has also thoroughly assured the quality of awarded itineraries. Travel agents are required to fulfill all awarded itineraries in accordance with the content of the contract, and the contents shall not be changed arbitrarily unless unavoidable events occur. In case of a breach of contract to change the content of the itinerary, the consumer may file a complaint within one year of the protection period of the Golden Travel Award. T.Q. will be responsible for mediating the case, requesting the travel agency to pay compensation, and serves as a gatekeeper to protect consumers' rights.

By building consumer awareness and improving the quality of itineraries, travel disputes could be significantly reduced. The Golden Travel Award plays an important role in energizing the ever-changing tourism market, establishing a benchmark, gaining recognition from consumers through brand reputation. Together with T.Q., consumers and travel agencies, we can revitalize the tourism industry of Taiwan R.O.C.
